What a great mod, I really enjoy using it. The only suggestion I have is to make it compatible with the light add on mod from Vertex Design. Either that or add in your own beacons stay on module.
Fantastic mod. I use it all the time. In order to give some input to futures versions:
a) try to make a function that when we are driving in reverse it shows a reverse camera;
b) a function like inching control;
c) a function that we are able to rotate camera in 90 degrees increments.
So here's my inputs to help you out with some more ideas... like if you need.
Keep up the good work. Can't wait to see what's coming in future versions.

I just can't see myself driving any machines WITHOUT Upsidedown's Drive Control. Well actually, there's quite few mods by Upsidedown that I never leave home without. hehe

I can see why the MODE_PARALLEL isn't as smooth in multiplayer. - Your code sends a network-event in every call of update(), which is called many-many more times than updateTick().
Perhaps you should only send an SetCruiseControlSpeedEvent when the new calculated max-speed changes significantly.
Probably also try to move some of the module-code to updateTick(), so the update() only checks for input-actions and will be faster to execute.
love this mod only thing is after installed my tractors and other equip vears to the side by its self no longer goes in straight line can some one help
okay my new problem is I use a 360 controller and both axis moving by themselves with both control sticks the camera 1 keeps rotating to the right under the steering and walking one keeps moving to the right and forward
Are you using the "SensibleStering" Module of DriveControl? If yes you might want to try to check what value is set for the
<deadZone> Parameter in the driveControl_config.xml file. If the value is 0.000000 then change it to 0.020000 to see if that helps
The "equipment gets dirty" thing is a feature of the game, not of driveControl. The only thing you can do is: reactivate the dirtModule in driveControl and set the timeFactor to something smaller than 1 (I do not know if zero would work, never tested that). The smaller the timeFactor, the longer it takes for equipment getting dirty.

drive control makes all my vehicles pull to one side, any ideas how I can correct this? love the mod though

what is with the complete black screen whenever you get into the vehicles with only drive control in ???????
I put this. And loose all my cameras. Show only black when go in tractor!!
Great mod but If I cant use my xbox 360 controller to steer straight its of little use to me. Is there a fix for this or setting that can be changed?

How to fully disable the dirtmodule?
As i do not like that the equipment that is stored inside a barn get dirty.
I did change this line inside driveControl_config.xml:
<DirtModule>true</DirtModule>
to
<DirtModule>false</DirtModule>
This did not make a difference.

For me 3.5 version crashes game when try to save. 3.11 works great.
