Amber CoOp

Now that my SP map is finished and Giants have started work on the dedicated server program. I have turned my attention back to my Amber map which was always orientated towards MP. Why is this map given a new name rather than a version number? This map takes a step into large scale multiplayer hosting and some may not wish it for thier mp game over the original Amber maps as well as those who play them singleplayer. This is the map I plan on using as a dedicated server map. The biggest thing this addresses for MP is storage for alot of friends and a "sense" of "ownership". As much that is kept the same, has changed, thus I present to you AmberCoOp.

What remains Amber...

All of the Americana easter eggs and custom sounds. You can still relax at the park in town or play baseball in the vacant lot or enjoy yourself at the off-road track. Not a field was harmed in the process so plant those giant "Amber fields of grain". The mountains (Idaho)remain unchanged as well as the country roads.

What is CoOp.....

*The map has been broken up into 5 "states" each with several homes, equipment storage and refil facilities. With a 6th "state" being that of the main yard with the animals. Teleporters connect all to a central hub at the main yard.

*Main yard is completely redone and given an industrialized look. With central off-loading.

*Sheep buildings gone and pasture moved to yard to centralize the co-op.

*Cow pasture expanded into an upper and lower pasture, silage and straw given at the upper and grass,mixed at the lower. Cows will migrate back and forth.

*Water mod is built into the map. Please remove it from your mod folder if you have it.

*Storage for all parts of the animal process. Storage for wool and headers.

*Places marked for breeding mod and chicken coop mod.

*Changed textures and foliage.

*Growth time of crops lengthened to match that of grass per stage at 3.6e+007. This only adds 2 minutes to each growth cycle if your in fast foward mode(x120, fast) but 1hr 20 min at x5,slow. Giving more flexibility to the players imho without having to go to real time.

*Idaho mtns. now have two additional wider roads to the top without altering the original back roads. To give players up there additional access.

*New PDA map to reflect changes.

*This map may have several versions as Giants work on the dedicated server program over the coming months and in time release details of features and/or mods are released that I feel should be in the map.

The map can support up to a dozen players with thier own equipment storage/home ect. Playing either all on the same fields or breaking up into thier own "claimed" areas and individually contributing to the co-operative. I would highly recondmend the seperate account mod so everyone gets paid and can save thier pay offline.
