Installation
Go to mods in the main menu and search for "Inspect Weapon"
Usage
Press F2 during gameplay to open the mod settings panel to setup your keybind that will be used to inspect your weapon.
To use in "Play Locally", open console and type `Sinjar?Scenario=Scenario_Hillside_Checkpoint_Security?Lighting=Day?Mutators=InspectWeapon` or any map and scenario of your choosing. Then hit F2 and open up the key bind menu when you spawn in. I wish there was an option to select a mutator that you have downloaded from mods :/
Notes
- I'm working on getting this to work on custom servers but on my initial attempts it wasn't working.
- If I can figure out a way to get it to load automatically for Local Play I will patch that in.
- I couldn't figure out a way to just simply add the keybind to the binding settings (If you can even) which is why you have to press F2 to open up the settings dialog. If I can figure out how to get it in the default bindings I will add it there instead.
- I might be able to find a better animation to use (there is a lot to go through in the source) then I will consider updating the animation.
This is the first mod I have ever made as well as the first time I have worked with the Unreal engine soo it was a learning experience but I was obsessed with giving my character a way to inspect a weapon on command since the animations were seemingly there and this is the result.
