This balancing mod was developed to be used with my Vegetable Farm and Fuel mods. I tried to introduce more appropriate costs for purchasing and maintaining buildings, and for the items sold at markets. No more lucrative berries or super expensive Foresters hut.
Unfortunately I haven't been able to change the upkeep cost of Churches yet. But most other buildings are set to be more reasonable and more logical relative to each other. Simple early game buildings cost either nothing or 1 gold to build, and usually 1 or zero gold to maintain. Later buildings are more expensive with higher maintenance costs.
I also doubled the capacity of warehouses and granaries to 200 per slot, slowed down production of the Shepherd, and increased maximum immigration to 6 people at a time.
