TFCT Rodger Young

Welcome my fellow Engineers, and thank you for downloading the Rodger Young. This is been a long time coming, and I finally finished my TFCT Roger Young from Starship Troopers! This version of the ship is designed to be-base game friendly, standing at just over 187,000 PCU. it has four functional dropship hangers on board with deployable arms. Unfortunately in order for me to make it able to be used in the bass game I was not able to fill all 18 dropship hangers. However I hope to release a version of the ship on the beta version of this game that has all 18 functional dropship hangers.

i’ve been wanting to build this shit for sometime, but until recently lacked the experience to pull it off. And even then I had to help with a few really good friends to work through some of its quirks! I’d like to acknowledge my friend KGP 3000 and CaptainJameKirk For helping me with the technical side of this project!

Roger Young is a Corvette transport Designed to bring the Mobile infantry to the designated combat zone! The ship was capable of caring an entire platoon, along with 18 vikiking dropships. They are extremely lightly armored and lightly armed! They are not designed for Frontline warfare but solely for transporting troops!

I’m sorry I was not able to put in all 18 dropships, However the PC limit on Consoles has I severely limited how many I could install! To keep the PCU limit down I installed four functional drop ships and Two escape pods. I worked very hard to re-create the ship accurately. Aside from some obvious changes that had to be made due to the lack of shapes available to us on space engineers, I feel it is an extremely accurate recreation. In this ship is an aesthetic design that is not designed to be survivable against incoming fire. However for those of you who have watched the film, you are aware that the ship in the movie can’t survive direct hits either. I really want to know what you all think of this design band I would appreciate your feedback. Keep an eye out for the beta version of this chip which will far exceed 200,000 PCU. There’s one last credit I’d like to mention trooper 0147 designed the drop ships they use on board the Roger Young! All I did was make some extensive modifications to them in order for them to fit my needs within my ship. Trooper 0147 thank you for all your hard work!
