Fully working Saturn V with lunar lander and service module with a crew capsule. Complete with fully detachable 3 stages, 4 piece deployable fairings, working crew escape tower and working airtight smallgrid rotor doors and an airtight 2 piece Apollo style lander. Made for up to 6 people but missions only need 2-3 people. One person controls the small grid service gyros and thrust and the copilot connects remotely to the bottom 3 stages.

Things to know before launch:

-Captain controls(top left control seat): up= emergency escape tower activate. Left, right and down are controls for rotor door. Pg2 up= Flight ready button(removes clang spin by retracting pistons and detaching rotor heads) left and right are attach and detach for nose rotor.

WARNING!: if you use the flight ready button be sure that you reattach the rotor heads before attempting to open airtight doors otherwise the door falls off. (Also this problem goes away as soon as keen releases small grid doors on xbox????)

-Copilot controls: connect to bottom via remote control. Up= launch countdown timer(lights the candle) right= MECO(main engine cut off) and stage sep stage 1. Down = stage two MECO and stage sep. Left= fairing deploy. I recommend setting up page two controls for s3 dampeners and thrust and payload lock to make life easier in 0g.

- 1st stage goes to exactly 10km and is recoverable.

- I recommend ditching fairings by 15km (some times they get stuck on the rocket and require the captain to “wiggle” the rocket)

- You will need to manually detach the crew escape tower once you feel you are safe out of the danger zone.

- 2nd stage can get bugged some times and doesn’t run out of fuel, I recommend ditching it no later than 30km up if it doesn’t run out before then.

- I forgot to add gyros to the lander you will want to put one or two in there. (my bad)

- Ascent stage in the lander is designed to EXPLOSIVELY separate by turning the ascent main engine on(don’t activate unless you are trying to leave the moon, it’s optimized for moon gravity and not earth’s and will separate the two pieces of the lander).

- Lander should have enough fuel to get you down to the moon, just use it sparingly and keep the ascent rcs for the last minute cause you need the rest of the fuel to escape the moons gravity. (Sometimes the fuel lines get buggy and require deleting and replacing, not sure why this helps but it did when I did my first and second moon missions)


KNOWN BUGS(but unknown fix)

- Sometimes fairing f2 does not fire its rockets and gets stuck so you have to wiggle a little bit to get it to fall off.

- For some reason sometimes even when the hydrogen tank is turned stockpile off the fuel tanks still won’t empty and makes it so you can’t fire the rcs.

- The lander sometimes has a similar problem and the RCS thrusters don’t fire.
