Rottumer Island

Welcome to Rottumer Island, a fictional map inspired by my imagination. The island is reclaimed land from the Wadden Sea (Netherlands) to create more space for dairy and arable farming. Additionally, it features a production forest for lumber, which can be used on the island or processed into products for export to the mainland.

The dairy farms on the island are modeled after farms from the northern Netherlands to see how they would function in an island setting. The island consists of several lakes and waterways, which can be used for water supply to animals and greenhouses—except for the smaller ditches.

The majority of the island is flat, allowing you to build your own farm or production facilities anywhere you like. You can also fill in ditches to merge fields and create larger farmlands.

By purchasing Farmland 1, you gain access to 'unbuyable' land, enabling you to mow roadsides and merge fields. In multiplayer, all fences belong to FarmID 1.
