LAM Ogre HAV

Reborn from the ashes of a failed project, the LAM Ogre HAV or Heavy Assault Vehicle, is the “older brother” to the Goblin ISR, once LAM started establishing military outposts and commercial stations on planetoids within the Wolf’s Maw that can support and sustain larger numbers of men and material, LAM soon ran into even more problems with the pirates and outlaws within its borders, they needed a heavy duty ground vehicle capable of punching through the defenses of the larger pirate bases and being able survive longer engagements, enter the Ogre HAV, which was created to maintain stability and order even in the roughest regions, the Ogre is able to tackle almost anything the Maw’s current inhabitants can bring to the field, while not the fastest, the Ogre is layered in heavy armor plating and like the Goblins they are always deployed in numbers, usually with a supporting LAM marine detachment, like the Goblin ISR’s, Ogre class HAV’s are constructed ground side to help combat potential planetary threats, as with the Goblin ISR, the Ogre HAV has recently gone through a major refit, removing the base 150mm artillery turret for a custom mounted weapon system, featuring a newer version of the 150mm artillery gun, a 30mm coaxial mounted gun, and a PF556 turret on top, for additional protection from aircraft and missiles
