Kurbdogg Kollection - The Lake Skates Pack

Mark Lake, a 2020 Space Coast Sports Hall of Fame inductee, began his pro skateboarding career at age 19 in 1985

and has been competing throughout the country for the past 35 years.

Lake began his pro skateboarding career at 19 with his first pro model deck by Flite Skateboards.

In 1985 he began skating for Walker skateboards where he designed his unique 'Nightmare' board

and in 1987 left to create his own company, Lake Skateboards.

He's one of the pioneers of "skater-owned" companies.

First time I met Mark Lake was at Island Water Sports when I was sponsored by them.

First time skating with Mark Lake is kind of a blur, but we always had fun when we did skate together.

He's always has been humble and down to earth.

Later on when I was doing the "Sk8Florida" skate magazine, and then the little park called "The Ant", Mark and I would skate more often.

Most of our sessions also included the legendary Alan "Ollie" Gelfand.

It's been a while since we skated together, especially since I moved out of Florida..........

So, I'm paying the man some homage for all the work and time he's put into skateboarding.

Included in this Pack is the "Deadnuts" Series (4 boards and 8 griptape choices).

Also included is the "Tribute" Series (4 boards) as well 8 Lake griptapes to mix-n-match.

Total contents of package - 9 boards and 16 griptapes.

In every Kurbdogg Kollection release there is TWO files for each board , one with the label "regular" and the other "reverse".

This is so the boards will be available in the correct position for those people who experience board spawning problems in the game like me.

Drag and drop in your "gear" folder, or where ever you have your other decks.
