Version 2.0, JD 8820 now gets Dirty!
Here is version 2.0 of the JD 8820 Harvester for FS17 with header and trailer I pulled apart the meshes, reworked textures and normals, and made the 8820 Washable. It now gets dirty including the windshields down low where dust rises from harvesting.
- Fixed the header attacher raise/lower. Now has very smooth animation and very clean attachment to header
- Added Interactive Controls:
- Spent many hours in an 8820 growing up so added on off/on switch for an air conditioner with sound. A/C can only be heard while in the cab. Feels just like it did in the old days with the added A/C for me.
- Left Door can now be opened/closed and has sounds.
- Relaxed back axle to match expected turning radius.
- Rotated the pipe a little further forward. Helps see unloaded from in the cab.
Cost: 30k, you can find 8820's at auctions for around that in decent shape today. Header costs 38K
HP: 190
Header Size: 9.1
I have already spent many hours in this harvester. Enjoy!

V1.0
This is the JD8820 harvester ported over from FS15 to FS17 by Ross W with a refuel fix. I have added a moddified 630R header to it and a associated header trailer from the 670i by MySQly.
* Fixed refueling
* Modified header color to match harvester
* Modified reel rotation to match 8820 speeds
All appears to be working. Happy Farming

1 Comments for John Deere 8820 with header and trailer
The rear axle is rigid,
That need to be adressed.
Also if you could put som original rear wheels on it with straight tracks insted of the tacked ones . . . ;)
