ISL - Scout Drone Trailer

DISCLAIMER: These ships/rovers are designed for PC, with scripts. They will work without them, but some functionality (eg. advanced wheel control, automated mining and shuttle routes, etc.) and fancy LCD readouts may be missing.

Purpose

A small trailer designed as a dedicated dock for the Calpini scout drones, with a batteries and hydogen system for recharging and a hinge dock for connecting the drones.

There are also hinges at the front and rear that function as tow hitches, allowing connections to either trucks or other trailers. As this is not designed as an autonomous vehicle, each trailer is controlled primarily through the use of labeled buttons, although an RC block is still present. Check the "Movement & Control" section for a list of the buttons and their functions.

This trailer is still considered "printable" although the addition of a single hinge head block is required after printing, as seen in the screenshots.

The buttons and timer blocks found on this trailer, and their functions, are as follows:

1. Pack Button - Trigger TB Pack
2. Unpack Button - Trigger TB Unpack
3. Connector Switchlock Button - Lock or Unlock the connector
4. Attach Button - Attach hinge head to rear mounted hinge base (tow hitch)
5. Detach Button - Detach hinge head to rear mounted hinge base (tow hitch)
6. TB Pack - Front Hinge Unlock, Piston Retract, Handbrake Off, Lights On
7. TB Unpack - Front Hinge Lock, Piston Extend, Handbrake On, Lights Off
8. TB Antenna - Toggles Antenna On/Off - For use with Trailer Manager Script
9. TB Engine - Toggles Hydrogen Engines On/Off - For use with Trailer Manager Script

This trailer has an empty mass of 12222 kgs.

All ships, vehicles & trailers in this set have a rear mounted Merge block and can be printed using a welder wall with one (large grid) piston. However in this case the merge block is designed to be ground down after printing, all blocks that require removal are painted bright red.
