International 1490 & 1590 Mower Conditioners

Experience the cutting-edge versatility of the International Harvester 1490 and 1590 Mower Conditioners. Designed with a three-point lift system, these machines ensure precise lateral and vertical floating, allowing the header to cut every bit of stem cleanly from the root. The hay is gently handled throughout the system: moved inward by the reel, guided by an auger, and processed through reinforced rubber rolls that crimp and crush the stems for faster drying while preserving the leaves.

The swath can be adjusted easily using a conveniently placed handle at the rear. Unlike the 1190, the 1490 and 1590 are equipped with a hydroswing for smoother and faster turns, along with a high-capacity PTO pump for efficient power delivery. Maintenance is straightforward with hinged side shields that provide easy access to critical components.

The 1490 has a cutting width of 12' 3" (3.7m), while the 1590 offers a wider 14' 3". Both models support sharp turns with hitch extensions, operate at speeds up to 7mph, and are compatible with tractors of at least 60hp.
