featuredHi there, dear community ...
Because a lot of times the request, now I introduce you to the open beta version of my little tools with which one the i3d files of mods and maps on the infamous "UV-out-of-range" error, which among other things is may creep in due to unmatched conversions or texturing, investigate and resolve. The original file is not modified, but the fixed version of the I3D can then be stored in accordance with its own ... Result: The UV error is gone - by the texture coordinates are scaled and trimmed to the appropriate range of values.
But where there is light there is also shadow, LS11 because some objects are textured with the new standard after so abysmal that you come there without a complete Neutexturierung to the limits of what is possible ... File bugs fixed since the textures are then heavily distorted and look really not nice, ie Recheck that one has released a fixed object or the texture in the case of the GE hand again whether the textures on the object distorted, or even possibly unusable. In some cases this was true for me and there is content for the object merely nurnoch the shelf-P ;-)
But ... and that should not be forgotten, it is only a 'quick' n dirty "workaround, which in no way replaces a (professional) Neutexturierung, but for my own use I could ever be (especially Map) objects so successful LS13-ready make - and thus it is at least for the inclined users worth a try. As I said, the original i3d file is modified in any way and may possibly also after the failure of a rescue attempt continues to be used as usual - if you do not overwrite the original file, but from what you will also again warned ^ ^
Some UV errors that are issued by GE, the tool recognizes not yet (I say 'only' Werrkzeugkasten "), so even the BETA status. Unfortunately, I'm not so far out yet where this error results - the algorithm used checks namely all texture coordinates and adjusts them as needed to - so the bunny has to be somewhere else in the pepper. If someone should have 'ne brilliant idea ... bring it on ;-) But in my test runs and also external (thanks to this site at client modding) was the reliability of the fault detection at 98%.
And ... Please, please, please ... with whipped cream on top: Do not just blindly cut the files through the tool and then complain afterwards that the whole thing looks pretty ***** - should be as if the only solution is to just Neutexturierung or the trash. I had developed the tool primarily for myself and it has made me to build my map and private conversions of mods very good service - so take it, try it, smile ... or leave it.
Have the honor
