How to support?

My really old potato PC needs an upgrade to pursue making maps, so any donation would be much appreciated: Paypal.me (Please leave your discord handle in the description if you want to have early access for future maps).

Every supporter will automatically be part of my beta testers on my discord: you should have access to a map 2 to 6 weeks before being released. You will be able to give feedback on the way, brainstorm with me on cool spots that could be added to the map, even help coming up with names, etc...

FAQ

Will this map come to console? YES! or no, I don't know. It all depends on you, if this map gets enough thumbs up and downloads on PC, it might be considered by EasyDay for console.

How do I get the Low-spec version for old PCs? I've attached below in the download files a low-spec version for people who have a PC worse than mine (I don't think it exists). This low version removes all the vegetation (trees, bushes) and also has different shadows. So if you can, go with the normal-high version.

Do I need map patch for decals? No, DO NOT press F11. I've used another way of making decals that enables it by default when you open the map.

Are you going to update this map? Not planned for now, I consider it done, however if needed I'll release a fix version. I'd like to focus on new map projects moving forward.

How to get the night version? You'll have to use DawgVinci's "exposure controller" mod, you can find it on his private discord or on the main SXL modding discord under "dawgs-mod". With this mod, you can set the light to be 1 to 3 (click the text field) for sunset, or higher number for dark night.

Can I have a billboard spot? If you join my discord, you can submit billboard design that I'll consider placing on this map or future maps. Supporters get the first spots though.

"This map is shit, I don't like it" Thanks for the feedback, however if you leave a negative review or thumbs down, please do leave a structured feedback in the comments on how I can improve it in the future. I've received too many negative comments or thumbs down on the Berlin map without any feedback or sometimes from people who didn't know how unity works. If you criticize a technical aspect, please make sure you know how you can help me fix it. It's really frustrating and it gave me many times thoughts of leaving this community. However, there is loads of maps for Skater XL, if you don't like my map, no worries, just go play the maps you like.

Why is it called Downtown NY when there is a spot from The Bronx? I know, I had to come up with a name and I sticked with this one since Beta. I do know that some of these spots belong to other parts of New York.

How long did it take to do this map? It's a 2 month project, next to my full time job.
