The Shoreline Of Lake Michigan

Welcome to The Shoreline Of Lake Michigan, a fictional map inspired by the northwest tip of Michigan's lower peninsula. Here, farming presents a challenge with sandy soil near the lake and extreme weather conditions that will test your skills. When farming becomes tough, you can switch to forestry in the vast northern forests, though the steep terrain adds to the challenge.

The stunning scenery of Lake Michigan's shoreline compensates for the difficult environment. This map offers numerous unique features and farming options, including dairy farming, traditional crop farming, fruit orchards, greenhouses, and a bee garden for honey harvesting. You can purchase 43 fields and 113 farmlands.

Five prebuilt farms are available for purchase. The main farm is equipped for crop farming, with a small sheep barn and chicken coop. It includes a preplanted alfalfa field to feed the sheep. Three other farms are dairy farms of varying sizes, one featuring a separate pasture with water buffalo. The last prebuilt farm is rustic with older-style buildings. Standalone houses are also available for purchase.

The map features multiple production and selling points, such as bakeries, a bee garden, a canning factory, a dairy production and sell point, a farmers market, a grain mill, and many more. Buy points include an animal trader, gas station, warehouse, and vehicle dealer.

New crops include alfalfa, clover, flowering catchcrop, green rye, rye, spelt, silage maize, triticale, vetch rye, winter wheat, and winter barley. The map also introduces a row crop system, additional ground angles, stubble destruction, updated corn textures, a custom planting and harvest calendar, more paintable textures, and custom weather patterns.
