Claas Jaguar 695

For the 1987/88 season, Claas introduced the JAGUAR 695 SL and MEGA series — a new generation of high-performance self-propelled forage harvesters.

The most notable innovation was the redesigned cab, offering enhanced comfort and usability for the driver. Engine power ranged from 316 hp to 410 hp. The new V-cutting cylinders with staggered, bisected knives ensured a smoother crop flow and reduced clamping forces in the accelerator. To improve throughput, both the rotation speed and number of knives were increased.

New header attachments were also introduced for whole plant silage and ground ear corn harvesting.
