Chiron Heavy Escort Frigate

The Chiron Heavy Escort Frigate (A modified version of a ship by JD.Horx which I modified to include a new paint job to fit my style, a more comfy and more lived in interior, more weapons, longer jump range and more thrust, credit to him on a great ship) is the perfect ship for capital ship escort, it’s main focus is to protect my Farragut Strike Cruiser, Hyperion Battleship, Titan Carrier and Olympus Command Dreadnought (all available for download on my profile) it has 5 Gatling turrets, 4 Missile turrets and 18 Point defence turrets, this gives the Chiron the capability to defend against incoming fighters or smaller enemy warships which my larger capital ships would be too slow to manoeuvre away from, it should stick close to larger ships and aid in destroying missiles and fighter / bombers which attempt to disable the ship it is escorting. If it must engage larger ships it should do so as a wolf pack with multiple other Chiron Heavy Escort Frigates or one or two of my Tyrant Destroyers (also downloadable on my profile) as on its own while it may be able to take on a destroyer, anything larger would disable it quickly due to it being designed to be a escorting ship for those larger warships.

It is not capable of atmospheric flight
