Case IH CVX Series

The CVX series, also known as CVT at Steyr, is derived from the CS tractor series. The CVXs built between 2000 and 2003 include models CVX 120, 130, 150, and 170. From 2003 to 2011, models 140, 160, 175, and 195 were introduced. These tractors are assembled in St Valentin, Austria, and are powered by the Sisu 620 6-cylinder turbo engine with a 6.6-liter displacement. This engine powers a continuously variable transmission, designed by a Steyr-ZF joint venture, and managed by the "APM" system, which optimizes engine speed for reduced fuel consumption. The tractor features communication via Bus-Can networks and offers a suspended Carraro front axle, a Zuidberg front linkage, and a 1000 rpm front power take-off as options. Additional features include an engine brake control for steep slopes, and an increase in speed ranges from 2 to 3 in 2003.

Configuration options include various front loaders (Quicke, mp-lift, hauer, MX, Stoll), tag placements, different monitors, GPS systems, and the Isaria Pro Compact for Precision Farming. The tractor is available in all basic colors and is priced at €80,000, with a top speed of 53km/h. Engine configurations range from 120 hp to 225 hp.
