BBT auto drill rig

Designed for a large deep space mining ship but fully equipped to work as is, it may require a power source to charge batteries.

I have tested it on knobbly asteroids not flat ground so it should work fine in all areas.

Features.
Builds track as it lowers for approx 70 blocks, this is ample depth for most asteroids. Once at full length a sensor will be built that turns off the mining sequence and turns on the reverse sequence. Once it reaches home it will switch off ready for next session. The poop shoots will eject rock and gravel to keep that cargo space for the good stuff and every 3 mins a grav generator will activate pushing all debris around poop shoots away. WARNING do not park ships on the poop shoot side of the drill as will be peppered with rock at 3min intervals not good not good at all.

WARNING I have gone through several different drill head designs to get to this one, it has been the most reliable, if the head jams you may lose the whole drill head mechanism due to detach phase of the sequence, This head should have no issues.

Housekeeping.
Before starting the sequence from the control station, check the following.

Auto piston should be retracted.

Auto rotor top should be attached

Bottom auto rotor should be detached.

This is the starting position of the sequence.

should you need to stop in mid flow downward, scroll down to Break and select stop. You will have to manually adjust the drill into the starting position above before commencing.

There should be no issues at all on the return run as there should be no obstacles. but if required scroll to Rev break and select stop.
The starting position for reverse is.

Auto piston extended.

Auto rotor top attached.

Bottom auto rotor detached.

Select reverse mine start to commence.

Any issues, you are an engineer, work it out and fix them, but let me know eh.
