On 24 and 25 May 2015 shakes the earth again in Schleswig!

 

 

Strong men and women throw logs, stones and hay-sacks through the air or tear under roar of a rope. A touch of Scotland blowing in the loop when on the premises "Auf der Freiheit" the northern highland games take place in Germany!

 

Live music with Pipes and Drums, whiskey, Guinness and Kilkenny beer, all sorts of goodies and a Scottish market with everything your heart desires of Scotland fans. This is the main program of the 2nd Baltic Highland Games.

 

The focus, of course, are the athletic competitions where the teams compete in their colorful kilts. Be carried out the Highland Games of the Clan Mackenzie Society of Germany, in cooperation with the Baltic Event Management GmbH (known by the Baltic Open Air, the RSH Children's Day and many more). The battle for glory and honor is of course strictly held according to official regulations. Under expert guidance to younger harmless in naturally disciplines must go through an obstacle course at the special children's Highland Games. All this takes place under the watchful eyes of a true Scottish referee.

 

It remains to mention that the location of team Vivendi is provided free of charge, and this year we Mutti's "home" also supported. Thanks a lot for this !!!

 

The patron of the 2nd Baltic Highland Games could not be Scottish, it's the Clan Chief of the Clan Mackenzie, the Earl of Cromartie.
