B-60 Black Betty V7 Freighter

This is the beautiful Black Betty which has been retro-fitted and reduxed from its ancestor B-60 so many times its sometimes hard to tell it even was the original. Other than the overall design and structure to it this baby is sure to last you in 1G atmosphere and 0.8G without it, that is without any extra weight. With weight you’re better off not going near planets without an atmosphere and should instead rely on the 8 massive thrusters which are sure to lift you even at your heaviest; that is if you don’t make too many weight additions to the hull.

Other than that she’s been redone so many times I’m proud to share this ship with you all and think you’ll find her just as reliable with up to 1,265,625 of liters it can carry on her. Not only that she can be filled with the heaviest of ores and still be afloat in atmosphere all though a little slow. Not only that you can bring two smaller ships on the back with you for mining. The two pistons on the side are extendable too, that way you can connect to stations easier.

The History

This beauty is handcrafted in survival mode, every aspect of her had to be redesigned many times to suit my needs in survival hence why she is the version 7. I remember redoing version 5 and literally ripping her in half to extend the middle of her by about 7-8 blocks. The cryo chambers were a neat addition if any passengers wanted to hang along but unfortunately no games aboard. One day on the version 6 I noticed she could do with some guns and that’s where the two turrets on top came from.
